Eligibility for membership
Membership of ANZSI is open to individuals or institutions engaged in indexing, or with an interest in promoting the aims of the Society. All members agree to abide by the Society’s Constitution and Code of Conduct.
Benefits of membership
Benefits include the ANZSI Newsletter which provides regular updates on Society and other indexing-related news, opportunities for connecting with other indexers, a platform for advertising services, access to resources including a reference library, discounts on the profession’s international journal, and professional recognition of skills.
Membership categories
Subscriptions are payable annually. They fall due on 1 July each year and are valid until 30 June the following year.
The fees for the 2024-25 financial year are:

Join
New member subscriptions can be purchased online through the ANZSI Store. Fees for new subscriptions purchased after 1 July are calculated at a pro rata rate.
Members wishing to do so may advertise their services in Indexers Available, the Society’s freelance directory. An annual fee of AU$35 (Australian members) or AU$31/NZ$34 (New Zealand members) applies, and is payable through the ANZSI Store.
Renew
Membership fees fall due on 1 July each year. Current members will receive a renewal reminder email with a link to make an online payment. You can also renew by visiting the ANZSI Store.
