Reading lists of selected titles (book, articles, websites) are presented here for the benefit of ANZSI members. These lists are updated from time to time.
The Indexer is the most important single source of articles on indexing.
- The last five years’ issues are available to subscribers at Liverpool University Press which publishes The Indexer for the Society of Indexers (SI) and the indexing societies and networks which are party to the International Agreement of Indexing Societies.
- Articles published earlier than the last five years are available
free of charge. - The SI website lists access details by volume and issue.
- The SI website has the following indexes to The Indexer
- Author, Title and Topic Category indexes, to the current issue
- Subject index, volume 1 to volume 28, 2010.
The full-text of The Indexer is searchable so, in general, the reading lists on these pages list only selected articles from The Indexer, not all relevant articles which may be in The Indexer.
Many of the books listed in these reading lists are available for loan from the ANZSI Library to members.
